A BEATLES TRIBUTE

This Beatles tribute, based in the USA are available worldwide with there touring show that captures the Beatles every move, authentic instruments, costumes and that visual excitement.

Tim Piper was cast three times among hundreds of 'Lennon wanna-be's' to portray the original legend for the television specials  'The Linda McCartney Story' 'The Last Days Of Lennon' and 'Beatles Wives' His resemblance to John Lennon and his ability to play guitar, harmonica, bass, piano and sing like the original legend is uncanny.

The four man group of Beatle impersonators delivers a concert that takes the audience time travelling through the 60's. The concert showcases the Beatles greatest hits, featuring music from the their historic appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show, from their movies, A Hard Days Night and Help! as well as tracks from their ground breaking albums like Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road and more...
The band takes on the personalities of the fab 4 while wearing slick collarless suits, beatle boots and mop tops, transporting audiences beyond the wigs and mere impersanations but capturing the very essence of four young men whose music changed the world and continues to win the hearts of millions and whose melodies provided the soundtrack for a generation.

'IN HIS LIFE: THE JOHN LENNON STORY'

Tim received a phone call from the producers "In His Life: The John Lennon Story." They had been searching for weeks for just the right voice to sing the vocals for the soundtrack for the movie. They had listened to dozens upon dozens of tapes from all over the world. Tim came highly recommended, so much so, they actually asked him to sing for them over the phone! With no preparation, barely time to grab his acoustic guitar, he sang a few Beatle tunes and was immediately hired. The next thing he knew he was being whisked away to Capitol's famous Studio A' where the likes of Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and a host of incredible talent recorded in the past.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

The film dramatizes the life of the legendary Beatles founder from age 16-24, from his first guitar to The Beatles first trip to America to appear on 'The Ed Sullivan Show.' This authentic story recreates the early musical performances of the young Beatles and was filmed entirely on location in Liverpool, England at many of the actual locations that helped shape the life of John Lennon.

Shot entirely on location in Liverpool, the film includes unprecedented access to such authentic landmarks as the actual house where John grew up and learned how to play guitar; St. Peters Church Hall (where John first
met Paul); The Liverpool Art College and Quarry Bank High School where John was a student; and numerous musical venues where the young Beatles performed, including the recreated Cavern Club. Other locations include those that inspired future Beatle hits such as Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane and the cemetery where Eleanor Rigby is buried.

The two-hour movie was premiere on Sunday,
December 3, 2000.

A Michael O'Hara Production in association
with NBC Studio.
